Emergency Roofing
24 Hour Emergency Roofing Across Sydney
Round-the-clock roofers who actually pick up the phone at 3am.

Roofs rarely fail at a convenient hour. A ridge cap lifts in a southerly gust, water starts running down a bedroom wall, or a branch comes through the sheeting at 2am. Our 24 hour service exists for exactly those moments. We keep crews rostered overnight and on weekends so you get a real tradesperson on the line, not an answering machine promising a callback on Monday.
What we can actually do in the dark
Working safely on a roof at night in the wet is a different job to a daytime repair, and we are honest about that. In darkness and high wind we prioritise stopping water and removing danger: securing loose sheets, throwing a heavy-duty tarp over the failure point, clearing a blocked overflow, and containing internal water so it stops spreading through your ceiling.
A full permanent repair often waits for daylight and dry conditions, because bedding, pointing and sealants need the right weather to cure. We will tell you straight what is a genuine overnight fix and what needs a return visit, rather than charging for work that will not hold.
How our overnight callout works
When you call, we ask a few quick questions to gauge urgency and safety: is water live over a switchboard, is anyone at risk, how much of the roof is exposed. That lets us bring the right gear on the first trip, whether that is tarps, roof jacks, a wet-vac for the ceiling cavity, or replacement sheets.
We give you a realistic arrival window based on where the crew is and the driving conditions. Sydney storms often mean multiple callouts at once, so we triage by danger and by how fast water is entering the building.
Keeping the emergency from getting worse
Most of the damage from a roof emergency is not the initial failure, it is the water that keeps coming for the next twelve hours. Getting a crew out overnight stops saturation of insulation, plaster and framing, which is the difference between a minor repair and a full ceiling replacement. We document everything we do so your insurer sees the failure was made safe promptly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will you really come out at 3am, or just book me in for the morning?
We genuinely dispatch overnight when water is actively entering your home or there is a safety risk. If the situation is stable and can safely wait until first light, we will tell you honestly, because working a roof in darkness and rain carries its own risks we would rather not add to your night.
Do you charge more for a 2am callout than a daytime job?
After-hours and overnight work does cost more than a scheduled daytime repair, and we are upfront about that before we roll a truck. In an emergency the priority is stopping damage that would otherwise cost you far more, and much of the make-safe is claimable through insurance.
It has stopped raining, is the emergency over?
Not necessarily. Water already in your ceiling cavity keeps soaking framing and plaster for hours, and the next front may be close behind. A break in the weather is actually the ideal window for us to get a safe temporary cover on before the next band of rain hits.
What should I do while I wait for you to arrive?
Stay off the roof. Inside, move valuables away from the leak, put down buckets and towels, and switch off power to any circuit near the water at the switchboard. If a ceiling is bulging with trapped water, keep everyone out of that room until we get there.
